Cellists I have known inperson or seen live

Here are some cellists I have met or loved...
Rostropovitch and I have hugged as well as Casals. These guys were amazing and I really enjoyed knowing them in my youth. Also Janos Starker and Yo Yo Ma. Atsumi brought them to Mesa and Tempe so we could get up close and personal with them. Bottom picture is of Isaac Stern, Artur Rubenstein, and Piatagorsky. I have seen all of them also.

Our hearts go out to the Hinckley Family.
We loved President Hinckley with all of our hearts.
May you enjoy your reunion with Marjorie and your parents.
You deserve a rest.
We will miss your sense of humor and love of Jesus Christ.
We know you will continue to impact the enormous legacy
you have left the church. 13 million and over 100 temples
is a tremendous legacy.

Photos I want to share...

Nothing is sweeter than the sounds of strings. They sound like the human voice...especially the cello. Let us all remember to love the music we make.

Miss Utah

Jill Stevens is a friend of the family and she is running for Miss America. It is on January 27th.

Happy New Year

The new year has arrived! 2008...what do we have in store?
Lindsay and I went to Arizona to see Grandparents and visit old friends.
Many nice visits. We saw Betty Anderson, Gladys McGarey, Sheila Bodine,
Marissa and THS school chums, visited Rexann's Grave.
It was a bittersweet time.
We had a blowout on the highway above Cameron...
got help immediately and had a couple of new tires installed in Flag.

The decos are still up today and hope to take them down in the next few days.
Macy painted her room while we were gone. My, it is so colorful.
David had his birthday. Stephen is going to Erie soon.
I am looking forward to a weekend in Zions in Feb.
All doing well so far...
